Looking Back in ADA History

9 April 1942, 75,000 American and Filipino troops surrendered to Japanese at Bataan. Among those who surrendered, the 200th Costal Artillery was the last. LTG Jonathan Wainwright would later state of the 200th Coastal Artillery, “They were the First to Fire and theywere the last to lay down their arms, doing so reluctantly, under direct orders”

Each scholarship recipient was given $500.00 towards an education at the school of their choice.
