ADA Announces Raytheon Scholarship Recipients

Chief Warrant Officer Robert Hammett who was assigned to the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, based in Fort Carson, Colorado and was killed in action in Baghdad, Iraq.

Command Sergeant Major James Blankenbecler who in 2003 was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 44th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, based in Fort Hood, Texas, and was killed while riding in a convoy that was hit by an improvised explosive device in Samarra, Iraq.
 

Ms. Taylor C. Wilson will receive the CSM Jame Blankenbecler Scholarship. She plans to attend the University of Alabama Huntsville in the fall. She will play soccer and pursue a degree in Aerospace Engineering. She is from Panama City, FL.

Mr. Travis J. Barrow will receive the CW3 Robert Hammett Scholarship. He plans to attend Pennsylvania State University in the fall. He is pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as serving in the Pennsylvania National Guard. He is from Orwigsburg, PA.
