Professional Bio

My name is CPT Caitlyn Curtin. I am a Human Resources Officer assigned to the Soldier Support Institute in Fort Jackson, SC. I am a Basic Officer Leader’s Course Instructor. I have been in my current position since JUN 2022. Before instructing, I served as a BN S1 in 1-62 ADA BN, 69th ADA BDE in Fort Hood, Texas, from May 2020 to May 2022. We deployed to CENTCOM in October 2020 for a 12-month rotation between three strategic countries. I served as the BN S1, supporting all three locations, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Kuwait. I attended Susquehanna University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Strategic Studies. I played Varsity Women’s Soccer. My first assignment was as the BDE Strength Manager from JAN 2017 to AUG 2018 at the United States Army Materiel Support Command-Korea, Camp Carroll, South Korea. During that period, I also served as the BDE S1 OIC for four months while our backfill was en route. I then served as the BN S1 for 2-1 ADA BN from AUG 2018 to AUG 2019 in Camp Carroll, South Korea. I am currently working on my master’s degree in Business Management with a Human Resource Management focus, scheduled for completion Spring of 2023.
